The new display and semiconductor project covers an area of 58,000 square meters and a construction area of 65,000 square meters. With an investment of about 3 billion yuan in the first phase of the project, the Shenzhen production base and the headquarters of the listed company will be relocated to Yannan High-tech Zone, and four new touch display and module production lines will be built, mainly serving high-end customized markets such as car networking and Internet of Things. The second phase of the project investment of about 2.3 billion yuan, the new domestic leading RF front-end module production line, is planned to start construction next year. After all the projects are completed, the annual invoicing sales will reach 6 billion yuan, and the annual tax contribution will be nearly 300 million yuan.
It is understood that the project is a microcosm of the in-depth implementation of the development strategy of "Science and Technology innovation zone, project area, and industrial strong area" in Yannan High-tech Zone, and it is also a representative of the Yannan High-tech Zone to vigorously promote the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and new display as the leading industrial identity. In the process of project promotion, Yannan High-tech Zone opened up green channels, adopted parallel approval, and assisted the whole process, and completed all procedures and preparations from signing to starting in only 3 months.
"The project that started construction this time is located at the forefront of the industrial chain and the high-end of the value chain, which will help Yancheng accelerate green development and achieve industrial strength." Tang Jing, deputy mayor of Yancheng City, said that Yannan High-tech Zone should take this opportunity to set up a special working class, integrate resources from all sides, provide the whole process and all-round accurate services for the project construction, strive to create a good business environment, and go all out to support the project to accelerate construction and put into operation at an early date.
